I am a public relations and corporate communication professional, based in Montreal (Canada). I hold diplomas from Laval University (Quebec) and the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC Montréal). I also have completed an MA at Université du Québec à Montréal. My field of research is the intersection of journalism ethics and framing.
In the course of my 30-year plus career, I worked as Director of communication at the Montreal Exchange, and I was for nearly 14 years a senior consultant with Optimum Public Relations, a business unit of the Cossette Communication Group. I then specialized in issue and crisis management, financial communication and corporate affairs. From 2006 to 2016, I was Vice-President, Communication and Corporate Affairs with Transat, an international tourism company. I am now an independent consultant, specializing in reputation and issue management, I teach communication, and I am going on with my research.
In 2014, I published Vortex, la vérité dans le tourbillon de l’information (Québec Amérique), a critical essay on journalism. The book won the Victor-Barbeau Award of Académie des lettres du Québec in 2015. I am a member of the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP).
